Petrolia 1 - Ennismore 1
In the 2nd game of the Tillsonburg tournament Petrolia matched up against the Eagles form Ennismore.
The Eagles had lost to Lambton Shores 3-0 in their 1st game, then losing 6-0 to Mt. Brydges and now playing Petrolia in their second game on Saturday.
As seen the prior evening this team never quit and played very sound defensive hockey.
Petrolia came out slightly sluggish and ended up giving an early lead just 3 minutes into the game.
Petrolia quickly came around and controlled the game from that point on getting 3 shots for every shot by the Eagles. This afternoon Petrolia would find they were up against an excellent goalie who stole the show.
Jaret Scarrow scored an unassisted wrap around goal to tie things up in the second period.
Petrolia played a second excellent hockey game in a row and ended up getting shortchanged the win they deserved but did get a tie.
Petrolia now had 3 of a possible 4 points with 1 game remaining in the round robin.
