In the 1st game of the Tillsonburg tournament the Oilers were matched up against the host team in a prime time game on a Friday night.
The Oil were coming off 2 losses in a row to Mooretown and St. Marys and were looking to get back to playing some very good hockey.
The team focused and put together an excellent effort this night with a one sided 6-0 outcome against a weaker opponent.
Goals came from Christ Docherty with a hat trick, Ryan MacAlpine, Tom Jacques, and Jakob Friesen. Curtis Jackson had 3 assists in a great effort.
This was an excellent effort and a nice shut out for Cody Ewing.
Great job in game #1 of round robin to put Petrolia in 1st place.
