The board met tonight to discuss team numbers. As everyone
is aware the Bantams are in a difficult situation with only one goalie. After some
considerable discussion the selection process has been revised.
Following the exhibition game on Thursday May 5th a group of 10 skaters and 1 goalie will be selected to represent the 1st team. This list will be posted here on the bantam girl’s web page either late Thursday night or Friday morning.
In addition to this first list, a reserve list comprised of 5 skaters will also be selected. These 5 skaters will be guaranteed to play in Petrolia. This reserve list will also be posted late Thursday night or Friday morning.
How will the reserve list work:

If we find another goalie and secure at least 10 players (including the 5 skaters on the reserve list) this group will make up a second team.

If we cannot find a goalie the 5 players on the reserve list will join the original 10 skaters and goalie to make up the one bantam team.
The board is making every effort to secure a goalie to make two teams and keep as many hometown girls playing out of Petrolia\East Lambton as possible.
