At 4foot 7 inches tall and a slight build, Wyatt Currie isn't a physical monster within the confines of the net. But after a few games you can see quite clearly the net is filled with determination, heart and soul all combined to barely give his competitors a small hope to score. Wyatt is from the Paul Burgess camp where during the offseason, he works hard on his game.  Wyatt is a second year player with the Atom AE Oilers who overcame tremndous health problems that kept him sidelined for the 1st half of the season. After a short break we bring you the Bio of the Week. Danton Webster tips the scales just a little heavier than his hockey bag at 60lbs, stands 4ft 5inches tall. Never lost for words and never ever has to be told to grab his gear and head to the rink, "The Bambino" has owned the right side of the rink for his whole hockey career.  Summer time allows Danton to relax with some Baseball or Soccer, but he loves to go fishing and tubing at the lake or just hit some jumps around the farm on his dirt bike.

Our Atom AE boys crossed over the border and headed down to Detroit this past weekend for a little Motown Cup action.  Always a favourite of the boys this tournament showcases both USA and Canadian talent together in a friendly but competitive and fun atmosphere. 

The Petrolia Atom AE Oliers look to the number 12 Jackson Policicchio to give them some tough play and hard work in front of the opponents net. "Jacks" gives defensemen frustration all through the opponents zone. At 4ft 5 inches and 72 lbs Jackson can be difficult for the best of defense to handle all along the left wing. Jackson is a Habs fan and enjoys watching just about any game on TV. He spends his summers playing baseball, swimming competitively and enjoys volunteering with The Childrens Health Foundation.

At just a little over 4ft tall you wouldn't expect this quiet right winger to be such a fierce competitor. But come game time Jacob is very well suited grinding hard along the boards fighting for loose pucks and taking on much larger players. "The Snowman" loves to sweep in hard off the right side with a solid shot for good scoring chances. A true action sports fanatic, Jake loves his snowmobiling with the family in the winter and motocross all summer. When he's not busy, Jake likes to spend some time watching Snow Trax and Dirt Trax on TV and rocking out to Florida Georgia Line.
