Atom AE Oilers travel to Ingersoll
Submitted By msutherland on Saturday, January 3, 2015
The Atom AE squad travelled to Ingersoll for an invitational exhibition match against the Ingersoll Express Atom AE's. Two well matched up teams faced off together with Ingersoll striking first with a tipped shot squeaking by the #1 of the Oilers. After a very long and difficult time away from the team due to illness, Wyatt Currie made his return in goal and showed everyone huge amounts of heart and desire keeping the Ingersoll Express frustrated.

Petrolia responded with a quick goal from Keenean Reidhead to tie the game. Ingersoll pressed forward with a good pass and rebound to score #2. Our Oilers responded with another goal from Reidhead to draw it tied a 2. But with a penalty and with a minute 46 to go Ingersoll struck again to put the game out of reach.
Great thanks to Caneuse Lime for player of the game awards to Jacob MacDonald and some great swag for the boys,
