Minors 3 St. Thomas 1 Tues March 18th
The minors came out on top on Tuesday night. The first period seemed a little slow as neither team had been on the ice for a full week. But early in the second, Evan started off the scoring with a shorthanded goal. Then Jacob scored a top shelf goal from a nice pass from Ryan McA. Somehow the score keepers in St. Thomas confused Jacob with Gouldie as the game sheet indicates number 3 scored the second goal.
St. Thomas came back after with their own shorthanded goal latter at the top of the third. Nick gave us a more comfortable lead with a beauty goal on a pass from Josh. St. Thomas pulled their goalie, but Petrolia maintained and we were able to walk away with a 3-1 win. We're back in our own barn Thursday. Let's keep it going boys!
