Card Deals St Thomas Losing Hand
I know we're a coupla games in arrears.

Wyatt Card scored the game winner after Jaret Scarrow carried the puck into St Thomas end. Gail reported that our last game could have been won but all the minors skated with their sticks at waist level.
Wyatt was ready stick on the ice and in proper position scored and won the game.
The game went back and forth it was well skated by both teams. Evan opened the scoring by forechecking then bringing  the puck out in front and put his stache in the night deposit. He then set up behind the net and after taking a pass from Ryan Bell calmly passed out front to Chris and Chris scored into the far side. Chris had a very good game carrying the puck well. The game was played on the larger ice surface and the boys were tired but came away with a very important win. I've heard people say that this is only league playoffs but it's a big win for the Boys. Final Petrolia three St Thomas two. At the end of this game a St Thomas player got passed Paul, but Paul being a strong skater caught him and dove, swung his stick and knocked the puck away from his stick. The referee awarded the player a penalty shot. My question was why? But Doug Kuipers said if a player spoils a pure scoring opportunity then he will be awarded a penalty shot. My opinion is Paul was playing defence that rule takes away what he is supposed to do. So be it the player skates in on Noah and deked then went low glove side had a bit of an opening but Noah showed him what for and shot his leg out and stopped the shot.
Now my next point is if they called that like N.H.L then what follows is what usually happens in major league, the other team gets their chances and all we needed was one. I tried doing our winning goal a service, but you really had to be there.
Jaret made the blueline skated in was hauled down, put the puck on the net and without any hesitation Wyatt scored our winning goal. Four big plays if you count Paul catching the skater, Noah's save five for whoever passed the puck to Jaret. Jaret still getting the puck on net and of course Wyatt finishing.
These young gentleman make this job really easy sometimes. I'm just glad to say I was there.
