Novice Reps Help Collect Teddy Bears at Sting Game
The Novice Oilers helped out the Sarnia Sting and the Salvation Army on Sunday at the Guelph Storm vs Sarnia Sting Game. The Novice players and coaches were one of the teams who were asked to help collect all the Teddy Bears after the Sting scored their first goal.
The Sting scored midway through the first period on a goal by #15 Peter White sending 3030 teddy bears raining to the ice. All stuffed toys will be distributed to needy families in Sarnia-Lambton to help the children have a Merry Christmas.
Thanks to to Sarnia Sting, Lambton Ford, and Tom Gibson from Blackburn Radio for giving our kids this opportunity and 20 free tickets for the game.
The Sting lost 7 to4.
