Oilers Tank Hits Empty to Close Out Season
The Novice Reps closed out their season with a 3 to 1 loss to the Strathroy Rockets. Leading 1 to 0 after one period, on a goal by Noel Sanderson who deflected a Will Hull shot from the point.  Pheonix Timmington was also credited with an assist.

That was all the offense the Oilers could muster. Chances were thwarted by missed nets, shots off the goalies head, hitting the bullseye on goalie's chest and a couple rebounds that bounced over sticks.  Strathroy scored three unanswered goals including one that was offside by a country mile to put the game out of reach.

This concludes a very busy season for the Oilers.  We may not have won a whole lot of games but hopefully the kids learned a lot and had some fun throught the year.

Congrats on a great year.
Way to go Oilers.
