Novices Heading to College
The Novice Oilers team is heading to Adrian College in Michigan this weekend for a hockey trip and a glimpse into what options may be available down the road if they want to pursue hockey and education at a higher level following high school.

On Saturday, the Oilers will travel to nearby Toledo, Ohio to face the u8 Team Toledo AA squad for a 10am match up.  After the game, the teams will meet for an opportunity to talk and trade pins and exchange stories.

Later in the day, the Oilers will return to Adrian College and have the chance to take in an NCAA basketball game.  At 7pm, the Oilers will be guests of the Adrian Bulldogs College Hockey team and will be involved in intermission fun throughout the game.  After the game the Oilers will be skating with the Bulldogs team.  The Bulldogs are coached by former Sarnia Bees star Ron Fogarty. The goalie coach and arena manager of the Bulldogs is former PMHA GRADUATE Jeremy Symington, who helped set up our trip.

Sunday sees the Team Toledo team come to Adrian to play the Oilers prior to the Bulldogs matinee. Following the Oilers game, the Bulldogs play again and the Oilers will be participating in intermission shootout.

The weekend will be busy but hopefully will be filled with some great team bonding, inspiration and lots of fun memories.

Let's go Oilers!
