Oilers Explode vs Bullets in Saturday Duel
Saturday afternoon the Novice Oilers squared off in a duel against the sharpshooting Bullets from Southwest and came away with a 16 to 0 win.
Leading 4 to 0 after one period, the Oilers kept pouring it on and peppered the Southwest goalie with 48 shots. Nate 'Dog' Perry had the smoking hot stick today netting 4 goals all from the same spot in front of net. The young Oilers, started some nice passing plays and looked to set up teammates for scoring opportunities. Some nice 'D to D' passing was initiated and opened up shooting lanes for shots from the point.
Other Oilers finding the back of the net were; Reed Douglas (2) Reid King(2), Jace McGrail (2), William Hull, Logan Crummy, Shane Knight, Phoenix Timmington (2), and birthday boy Noel Sanderson. Kento Gudz was not busy but made saves when counted on.
Way to bounce back Oilers.
