Game 1: Petrolia plays Mt. Brydges Cougars, who had beaten the Oilers 4-2 in November. The Oilers are able to easily handle the Cougars by a score of 5-1. Scoring for Petrolia was Trent Jardine with 3 goals, while Curtis Helps and Ian Wheatley each scored once. Assists by Jaret Scarrow (2), Jack Hackett (1) and Josh Myers (1). Game 2: Petrolia plays arch rival Mooretown Flags and the Oilers lose a close one by a score of 3-2. Scoring for Petrolia were Curtis Helps and Hayden Gould with helpers from Jack Hackett, Josh Myers, Cade Robbins and Nick Friesen. Cody Ewing played well in goal but ...
