Mooretown 6 Petrolia 2, News, Midget Minor, U18, 2013-2014 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

Well the boys played more like a team tonight but the score didn't fare well for us. We skated with Mooretown and hit as well if not better, but just didn't put the puck in the net. Dawson Feenstra stole a puck outskated his opponent but couldn't bend the twine. Dylan Krall and Edward Loerts proved adept in their hitting skills. Backed up by hitting from others as Ryan MacAlpine and Jaret Scarrow also hit well. We are playing better together but just not enough to win. Still beauty saves from our goaltenders but if they could skate out of our end and score like defenceman or forwards we would win more. Anyhow better effort but still not on the winning side of the scoreboard.
