MITCHELL PEEWEE REP BOYS TOURNAMENT
The Peewee Oilers played five games during weekend action, placing FIRST OVERALL in the tournament.  The Oilers had the highest goals for, in four games (19) and the lowest goals against (1), going undefeated into the championship game!

MVP of the Games, as selected by tournament officials were as follows:

vs. Kincardine (6-0)- COLE DOIG

vs. Oakville (5-0)-  DUNCAN CORE

vs. Lincoln (2-1)- SHANE BOELENS

vs. Lambeth (6-0)- JOEL CARD

vs. Lincoln (1-2 final)-  KYLE FOWLER

Our boys played solid throughout the tournament and we congratulate them on their efforts!  The final game came down to some luck and seemed to be in Lincoln's advantage.  For the most part, we dominated the skating and passing of the game but fell a bit short finishing at the net.  The first goal scored by Lincoln was a deflection that some said hit the crossbar and bounced out but was counted. The second was a double deflection and just caught the inside of the post.  Ryan Horton got the team back in the game with a slapper from the blueline that seemed to energize the team but just could not bury a puck to tie the game.

Proud of the kids for executing TEAM dynamics. This education of playing all lines will benefit this team down the road!  Keep up the positive attitude and keep working hard-we have a long season ahead of us!

GO OILERS!
