Senior Women, 2012-2013 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

We have a practice on Sunday, March 10 @ 9:00 at Greenwood Arena.

The Oilers travelled to Embro for the opening game of the series to play Zorra Fusion. Zorra opened the scoring mid-way in the first period with a short handed goal. Shortly after, when Zorra had two players in the penalty box for over a minute, Petrolia was unable to score.  With three minutes remaining in the first period, Jen Minten came down the left side and scored over the goalie's shoulder.  Game tied 1-1 after the first period. Senior Ladies tie Parkhill in the final game to continue to the next round of playoffs.  Our first game in Parkhill, saw Petrolia go ahead in the series with a 3-2 win. Parkhill came to Petrolia for the second game.  Kristin Vokes started the scoring with help from Karly Dobbin and Hayley Vokes.  Karlie Handsor scored the second and third goal with Karly assisting on the third goal.  Parkhill answered each of our goals to end the game in a tie, 3-3. Senior Women's won the Gold Medal in the South Huron Sabres Pink on the Rink tournament beating Parkhill, 1-0, in the championship game. Congratulations players and coaches!
