SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY OCTOBER 16 th , 2021
THE PMHA IS OFFERING BODY CHECKING CLINICS FOR U15 (2007 - 2008) AS
WELL AS ANY U13 (2 nd year - 2006) ATHLETES WHO WISH TO ATTEND.

TO BE CLEAR THIS CLINIC IS MANDATORY FOR ALL U15 PLAYERS ***
Body checking is an integral part of rep hockey starting at U15 (formerly Bantam)
This clinic is mandatory for all skaters wishing to participate in the U15 2021-22 season and would be beneficial for all 2nd year U13 players to take in order to have some prior training in body checking before moving to U15.
Eligibility Requirements to be able to attend PMHA Body Checking Clinics:
Athlete MUST be already registered with the PMHA for the 2021-22 season
Groups for sessions will be decided on scheduled by PMHA. We are trying to keep numbers in sessions even and limit to 20-22 skaters per session. This is to provide good one on one coaching and feedback for every player By doing this they will feel confident with different types of contact after the session is completed and throughout the season.
The clinics will be put on by TPH – Total Package Hockey out of London, ON. The clinics are progression based and will be 80 mins in length to ensure more reps and the time to fully cover the progressions in body checking.
Cost: FREE TO ALL PMHA U15 PLAYERS & 2nd YEAR U13 PLAYERS
When/Where: Both Ice Times are at the Petrolia Greenwood Arena.
U15 (Minor Players 2008)
Saturday October 16th – 7:00am -8:20am
U15 (Major Players 2007)
Saturday October 16th – 8:30am -10:00am
LIST OF PLAYERS NAMES TO FOLLOW IN SEPERATE ANNOUNCEMENT PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON THE PMHA WEBSITE. I will try to have these up by Sunday October 3rd.
If you are a parent of a U13 2nd year player (2009) please email me directly at [email protected] ASAP so that I can find a spot in either the 7AM time slot or the 8:30am time slot. Placement will be determined by numbers as we want o keep skill level
