Referee Clinic
Submitted By Karis Sylvester on Monday, April 12, 2021
Hello PMHA families,

We hope you are all doing well during this strange time. While we are unsure about how things will look in the fall, the OMHA is looking for kids interested in referee school. This is normally held in Windsor in September each year. This year may look different but we still want 3-5 candidates from PMHA if we have interest.

There are two different groups for this version of referee school:

Group 1: Those born in 2004/2005/2006 (15-17 year-olds)

Group 2: Those born in 2003 or earlier (18 years plus)

Please email Mike Edgar at [email protected] if you are interested and please include your phone, email and birthdate as well as the names of your parents.

We need our list into the OMHA by the end of May so our deadline will be May 20, 2021.

Refereeing is a great way to see the game from a different angle, get more time on the ice, improve your skating and also make some money. There is always a need for younger referees as well, this could be a good opportunity for you.
