President's Message - Thank You!
Submitted By Nick Salaris on Thursday, April 25, 2019
As my term as President draws to a close...

I wanted to thank those that have made my years with PMHA and over last years as President of PMHA a time in my life I will never forget. Serving for PMHA has provided me with experiences and created friendships I will never forget and will maintain for years to come.

To the coaches past and present, thanks for giving your time to all our kids and the organization. It is appreciated and we know quite often thankless. It can be the most difficult and yet the most rewarding role in minor sports.

To all the parents and players, thank you for allowing me serve as your President. It was a role I did not take lightly. In the end for me it was about the kids - it was always about the kids. While we may not have always agreed, I have always been treated respectfully.

To the OMHA, thank you for all your support. We have had many disagreements, but through it all you have always been professional and supportive.

To the Town of Petrolia and the Arena Staff team, thanks for always going above and beyond. Your flexibility and willingness to lend a hand when needed goes without saying. Thanks for all you do!

Finally, to all the Board Members past and present, thank you! You are only as good as the people around you. Thanks for caring about our kids and dedicating your time for the betterment of PMHA, our kids and the great game of hockey. PMHA is in good hands for sure!

I am fortunate to take with me the memories and experiences that I can call in my personal and work life. You only get out of things what you put in.

Thanks again everyone,

Nick Salaris
