Message from the President

PMHA Families, Players and Volunteers,

We are well into throws of another busy hockey season in Oil Town. I want to extend a hearty thank you to all our volunteers that work tirelessly behind the scenes to make each season a success - it is not easy and there are always bumps in the road, but we are all here to hopefully make the hockey experience as enjoyable as possible. While everyone may not be happy or understand decisions that are made, I am proud to be associated with a dedicated and hard-working Board that has the best interests of the entire organization at heart. A special thank you to our Arena staff who are always willing to go that extra mile - thanks guys.

A reminder that the 46th Annual Earle Trevail Memorial Regional Midget Silverstick tournament will be hosted in Petrolia from December 27/13 to January 2/14. This tournament is our biggest fundraiser so, if you are around during the holidays come up to the arena and support our hometown Midget Rep and Minor Midget Oilers as they compete for a title. It is a great and competitive tournament and your support would be greatly appreciated. If you are looking for volunteer opportunities, the volunteer schedules have been posted in the main lobby at the arena.

For anyone interested in Oiler wear - please contact Sewlutions (519) 845-1020 or in Wyoming. They donate 5% of all PMHA sales back to the organization. We are fortunate for their dedicated and long-time support of PMHA.

Organizationally, we are actively looking for an Ice Scheduler for the 2014-2015 season. Please contact any Board member if interested.

Congratulations to all teams who have won and faired well at tournaments this season - we are all proud of you! Good luck to all teams moving forward in tournaments, Silverstick, Provincial and OMHA Playdowns and League Playoffs for the rest of the season.

All the best for great Holiday season and a Happy New Year.

Yours in Hockey,

Nick Salaris
President Petrolia MHA
