Novice Oiler Philanthropists!
Submitted By cboyd on Monday, April 8, 2013
The Novice Tri-County Oilers were highlighted in the Children's Hospital newsletter this spring. This newsletter is sent across the province to anyone that has donated to the Children's Health Foundation. We had no idea that the Foundation was doing this and it was a nice surprise on Thursday when I opened the mail and found a picture of the team. I thought I would send along the link to the newsletter. We are very touched by the generosity that was shown by the parents and kids of this team. Speaking from experience (with my own family and working with pediatric patients for the past many years), the gifts that are given in the hospital can make the difference between a very bad day and a good day.
Cheers to a fantastic season and wonderful coaches.
Lisa and Sam
