Pee Wee Rep Semi-Finalists in Southpoint!
Submitted By cboyd on Sunday, November 27, 2011
After a disappointing loss to Erie Northshore on Friday, the Pee Wee Rep team rebounded with three wins in a row (vs Sarnia, Riverside, and Lorne Park) to finish first in Pool A. They played a wickedly exciting semi-final game against Belle River.  Two goals behind starting the third period, the boys tied it up forcing a 10 minute overtime which went scoreless.  The game went into a shoot out.  After 5 shooters the score was tied 4 to 4 and finally the 7th shooter scored giving Belle River the win.  The Petrolia fans were proud of the boys performance against their strong Belle River opponent.  The team also proudly raised over 1300 dollars for the "Make A Wish Foundation" which will be pooled with other team contributions to make a teenager's wishes come true!
