Reps 11 Pt Stanley 3, News, Midget Rep, U18, 2014-2015 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

The score didn't really tell the whole story, here.

 I don't know if the Midget Reps were tired, from the night before, but they didn't play totally like a team. Matt and the defense did their jobs. The forwards scored some highlight reel goals but mental errors, could have cost us. Two of the defense did score a couple of nice goals. T.J and Zach got a couple of beauties. Haydn in his first game back proved that hard work pays off as he collected a couple of assists and also potted a goal, after a goalmouth scramble. Paul Ferguson also proved that hard work can garner rewards, as he scored and got an assist. I'm sorry that I didn't see it, as I was watching Matt try to ward off the effects of being struck on the head with a blast from a Pt Stanley slapshot.
 Someone should really check the netting on the back of the nets. I watched the Midget A-E team get robbed of a goal as the puck went thru the netting. T.J scored and there was no call because of the same. At the end of it goals went to Zach who ended up with two goals and two assists. Isaac scored two goals and also got two assists. T.J got two goals and two assists. Haydn got a goal and and two assists. Brandon Smith got a goal and an assist Trent with a goal and an assist. Paul and Evan both scored singles. Dylan continues his game scoring streak with a two helpers. At the end of it we picked up four points out of two games with another game tonight in Dorkchester. As we try to gain ground on division leading St Mary's (who have played a few extra games).
