Well Played Boys
The Atom AE Oilers travelled to Mooretown on Saturday to take on the Storm and came away with a 4-0 victory. Hard work is paying off for the boys as they are coming together nicely to play as a team.
The game started off slow with the score still at 0 heading into the 2nd period, but a single handed goal by Justin Oliver finally put the Oilers on the board. It wasn't long before Brady Melton tipped another one in assisted by Logan Harding to put the Oilers ahead 2-0. Not long into the 3rd period Hunter Carron slipped in a rebound with the help of Brady Melton and Justin Oliver. And with 3 minutes left in the game, Logan Harding secured the score at 4-0 with a pass from Ethan Marks and assisted by Jayden Park.
Hats off to goalie Matt Broer on his great skills in net and coming away with a shut out for the game.!
