Petrolia Bantam girls Win silver in St.Thomas tournment
Petrolia girls bantam team won Silver at the St. Thomas Panther tournament!!!!!!
During round robin play they defeated St .Thomas 2-1 goals by Tristin Jackson and Emma Mundy, and goalie Jodi Garrett had a shut outs against woodstock 1-0 goal by Bailey Shannon and Tilsonburg 2-0 on goals Mundy and Shannon. They lost to St.Marys 2-0.

They met St. Marys in the final and took a 1-0 lead in the 1st period on a goal by Mundy late in the 3rd St. Marys tied the game. The game continued though 5 min of overtime and ultimately a shoot out,which St .Marys won 1-0. It was a though loss, but impressive team efford that had been improving with every game. Getting assists though the weekend Dalaney cullinan(4), Ashley Simpson(3), Jasmine Martin, Kayla Hammond, and Jackson. All players contributed with hard work and spirit every game through offense added by Mackenize Limb, Riley Cullinan and Hollie Walsh and defence Lindsay Kirkland and Shayna McNally. Bench staff includes head coach Kailey Whitlaw assistants James Whitlaw, Rob Cullinan, Doug hammond and trainer Chrissy Jackson.
