The third game of the series showdown between the Strathroy Rockets and the Petrolia Oilers moved back to Strathroy.

This game was a better effort by the Oilers.  The game remained scoreless after 1 period.  At the start of the second period the Rockets gained a 2 on 1 via a favorable puck bounce off an official.  This was the only 2-1 in the entire game for Strathroy but they made a nice pass and finished with a goal.

Petrolia just had no answer for the Rockets this night and fell in a very close game 1-0.  The Oilers head home to host game 4 in Petrolia down 2 games to 1.
