Coming off a close game against the #2 team in the league the Strathroy Rockets and 2 wins prior to that the Oilers wanted to get back to winning.  The Oil knew it was going to take a big effort to take down the #3 team in the league as the Dorchester Dragons rolled into P-Town.  A complete game would be needed to win the 2nd time against the Dragons this year.

The Oil came out and played very good positional hockey in their own zone giving few scoring chances up in the 1st period while scoring twice.

The second period has been an issue for the Oil all year as the team gets a little tired and stops winning some of the footraces to pucks.  The Oilers on this night scored to make it 3-0.  However then decided to take a few minutes off and allow the Dragons to come storming back with 2 goals before the end of the period.

With a one goal lead the Oilers needed to be smart in the 3rd period, getting the puck deep, keeping the shifts short, and outworking a team that was down.  The Oil scored to make it 4-2 before allowing the Dragons to score and make it again a one goal game.  The Oilers finished the scoring on a power play goal and dominating the final 10 minutes of play.

Special mentions should be made to Jaret Scarrow getting 3 assists, and Kale Morton getting 2 goals and an assist.  Some strong penalty killing also took place throughout the game.

Excellent game overall.  Lets keep up the hard work and get some more points to finish the regular season strong and be ready to make a deep run in the OMHA and league playoffs.
