Schedule & Results, Bantam AE, U15, 2011-2012 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

This game was a tale of two games.  The first part where Petrolia totally dominated and showed superior passing, movement with and without the puck, excellent attack in the offensive zone and the ability to move the puck in the defensive zone.  Petrolia just could not score and as time went on the team became fatigued.
The Sting took advantage of the Oilers not getting to thier spots and scored goals quickly.
This was a tournament that showed this Oilers team can play with any opponent and a few minor changes and some more practice will see these scores reversed from losing by a goal or two to winning.

Next up the Oilers have a challenging week with league games in both Strathroy and Thamesford before heading to Woolwich for games against Collingwood, Centre Wellington and Caledonia.  This week will test the team on positional play and the amount of heart these players have.  To be successful at this level against these top calibre teams a effort for the entire game (every shift) is required by all.
