Schedule & Results, Bantam AE, U15, 2011-2012 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

The Oilers rolled into Alvinston after beating up on the St. Marys Rock to take on the East Lambton Eagles.  The Eagles have had a difficult season this year and the Oilers were reminded to not let their feet off the gas pedal in the pre-game talk.

The Oilers came out and played a very good 1st period with numerous scoring chances but came away from the first with only 1 goal showing for their efforts.
The second period saw more scoring from the Oilers as clearly they were the better team and were working to prove it.  The Eagles scored in the 3rd period with less than 8 minutes remaining to remind the Oilers that sloppy play results in facing off at centre ice after getting the puck in your own net.

Mitchel Crombeen was one of the best Oilers on this night as he had 2 goals and an assist.  Cameron MacAlpine returned to the lineup making his first start in  a long time.  Way to go Cam on a win.

The Oilers will need to play better to compete with the number 2 team in the Shamrock league, the Strathroy Rockets who roll into Petrolia tomorrow.

Good game guys but the AAA game will be required tomorrow.
