The Oilers came out to avenge an early season loss to the St. Marys Rock.  The team came out in the first period and set the tone being aggressive on the forecheck and quickly breaking out of their own zone.The scoring started with a nice passing play from Jakob Freisen to Jaret Scarrow who set up Iam Wheatley.

The second period saw the Oilers continue to control the tempo of the game and they were rewarded with the second goal coming from Alex Mayhead and assisted by Dawson Feenstra and Ryan Bell.

The Rock became frustrated and the game got a bit chippy in the 3rd period as the Oilers kept the puck in the Rock's zone and the Rock had no answer for the speed the Oil showed this night.This was a team effort and one of the better games of the season.  Matt Kuipers made some timely stops to keep the Rock off the scoresheet.Great game guys.  This is the level of effort that produces wins.
