Schedule & Results, Bantam AE, U15, 2011-2012 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

This was the most unusual game of the season.  The Oilers came out in the first very flat and were scored on 2x in the first minute.  A rather large hole to dig since the team had not scored a goal in 4 games.  The Oilers picked up the tempo, started to pass the puck, worked on a strong forecheck and out played the Attack for the remaining first and second periods. 
At the end of the second period the game was even and the Oilers were taking the game to the Attack.
The break must have put the Oilers to sleep yet again as the Attack came out and scored 2 more goals in the first 5 minutes.  The Oilers answered a goal and were getting more chances as the final period ticked on.  The Attack ended the Oilers comeback with an other goal with about 5 minutes to go.
We will get a W when this Thamesford team visits Petrolia and plays on a regular sized ice surface.
Alex Mayhead was a dominant force during this game, getting his first hat trick of the season.
Lets work hard this weekend and have some fun in Woolwich.
