Atom AE, U11, 2010-2011 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

The Petrolia Atom AE Oilers finished off their hockey season with a strong showing in the annual Lincoln Blades AE tournament losing in the champioship game 3-0 to Grimsby Peach Kings. Special mention to Logan McLinchey for winning the fastest skater competition in the Atom AE division. Great work boys on a successful tournament and season. The Oilers won the Strathroy tournament, lost to Essex in OMHA playdowns, were semi-finalists in Silverstick and finalists at the Lincoln tournament. The Petrolia Atom AE Oilers sponsored by Wyoming Lions club defeated the Strathroy Jr. Rockets 6-2 in game #3 of the best of 5 series to win the Shamrock Hockey League "B" Division Final in 3 straight games. Congrats Boys!  Goals - Brayden Fryfogle, Nolan Salaris, Caleb Guthrie (2), Logan Wilkie and Logan McLinchey Assists - Logan Wilkie (2), Dylan Kerrigan, Carson Feddema, Collin Boyd, Hunter Westgate and Brayden Fryfogle Winning Goaltender - Craig Livingston 

The Petrolia Atom AE's had an exciting weekend of hockey!  They beat Ayr and Mooretown on Friday.  Saturday they lost to the tournament Champs in a crowd pleasing game 4-3.  Sunday morning they defeated St. Mary's 1-0 in the quarter final and lost to Tillsonburg 1-0 in the semi-final.  Craig Livingston was outstanding in net!  The refs were very impressed and the Tillsonburg fans were shocked by the saves that were made!  Way to work Atom Oilers!!!
