Some exciting events to pass onto your hockey families for this coming weekend in support of Kraft Hockeyville coming to P-Town. Please pass on and encourage your teams and families to participate!!

 Please read the attached press release to see the activities going on this Saturday, for our bit to win Kraft Hockeyville. Please show up Saturday to support our bid and keep the momentum going. We would love to have as many members from all teams to participate in the Kraft Chef Contest and Marching Parade. We have received favourable responses that we have been noticed but, we need to keep it rolling and everyone’s participation is key to us becoming Kraft Hockeyville!

 It would be great if every team in PMHA came up with a Kraft ingredient recipe for the contest. There is no limit to the number of entries or whether it be a group or individual entry.  Anyone can enter and they do not have to be a member of PMHA.  Grandparents, parents, players, service clubs, members of the community, near and far are invited to participate. There will be two categories; sweet and savoury.  Please bring a copy of your recipe and it is hoped to put together a community recipe book.

 

The parade is a walking parade but, if people have floats or trucks that they want to decorate and have kids ride on them, that would be even better.

 

The “Kraft” craft room will be open all day for everyone to use.  Please decorate a door if you have not already done so and colour a picture or design a poster to hang.  We want the arena covered in “Petrolia Pride” by the time of the “Top 10” announcement.

 

Thank you for the “Oiler” and community spirit you have displayed thus far.  We want everyone to be able to say “I helped make Petrolia Hockeyville”!

3 on 3 begins on Monday March 28, 2016.  This is a FUN, non sanctioned league that gives your children an opportunity to play with friends (or make new friends) that they may not have otherwise been able to play with.

Cost is $120 for 3 on 3 only or $200 if you want the combo package that includes the 3 on 3 and the skills/power skating.
