I want to say thank you to each girl, and their family, for participating in try outs for the Pee Wee “B” squad. It is my hope that this post will help to clear up some of the questions that arise in the selection process as we move through it.
All try out activities will occur at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia. I will be making the first round of selections after Friday’s try out, which begins at 7:50pm. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the girls who are invited to continue to the third skate will be listed on this website by 10 am on Saturday.
The third skate will be Sunday, May 1 at 12:50pm. After the skate on Sunday, an additional round of selections will occur. The list of girls who are continuing in the process will be posted here by 8pm on Sunday. To complete the try out process, we will be playing an exhibition game vs. the Sarnia Lady Sting "B" squad on Tuesday, May 3 at 8pm. The final team roster will be posted on the website on Wednesday, May 4.

It is my hope that each of the girls who have come to try out find as much joy in the game as I do, no matter the team for which they play. Hockey is a great teacher, and its lessons come in all aspects of the game. See you at the rink!
