In the wake of the very tragic death or Quinn Derbyshire, Wayne and Leslie Jaques (Peewee Rep) , organized a thoughtful sticker drive. They had a helmet sticker made with Quinn's number 14 on it. Stickers were sold as a donation of any funds.
They seemed to have taken off , with donations coming in at $1222 for the Derbyshire family.
The PeeWee Reps played in Strathroy last night. Prior to the game starting , Quinn's father and brother (who plays on the Peewee team), came out to center ice to receive the donation funds along with a puck with Quinn's number and name on it. They were very gratful for the way that the "hockey family" always comes together in tragedy. After the game the family came down to personally thank everyone for what had been done to help them.
