Practice this week and parent meeting, News, Beginners Timbits Yellow, U5 - Timbits, 2015-2016 (Petrolia Minor Hockey)

Well we have one practice down and we are gearing up for practice number two.  After meeting at center ice we will again divide the kids into 3 groups.  The skaters will go to one end, the 'shufflers' will go to the other end and I will keep the non-skaters with me at center ice.

Next week we will divide into 2 teams (green and blue), which I will email out and post on the website.  Within the teams we will then divide players up into smaller groups in order to run them through a series of stations.  I will continue to keep the non-skaters (blue and green) with me at center ice until they are up and moving, at that time I will integrate then in the stations with the other players.

 

Finally, we will have a brief parent meeting after practice in the upstairs mezzanine at the arena.

   1. 2 Cheques for $500 dollars dated Jan. 15, 2016 and April 15, 2016.

   2. Each cheque is worth 6 hrs of work.  Watch website or contact Brenda Wilson for volunteer opportunities.

5. All new timbit/tyke players must submit a copy of birth certificate

6. Respect in Sports Parent Program

   1. a parent of each players must complete this program.
