Reps 4 Mt Brydges 2
The visiting team really wanted to win. But so did our boys.
Mt Brydges got things going first. But P Town Midget Reps got their game going also. After some back and forth play Isaac working hard got the puck out to Zach and it went off his skate and Connor grabbed and stuffed it home. Then the old guy line of Paul, Evan and Dylan went to work they kept Mt Brydges pinned in their own end for a whole shift then in the second period their hard work paid off and with nice some nice passing Paul worked it to Evan and he passed right onto Dylan`s stick and with a nice low shot he made no mistake. Mt Brydges were able to tie the game.
And into the third we went. Both teams stepping up the play but Isaac shuffled one under their goalie assists coming from Zach and Connor.
Mt Brydges in the closing minutes had us pinned down in our own end and with some key saves from Matt we were able to clear our zone. They had pulled their goalie so Josh getting in the clear used Isaac as a foil aned he made no mistake burying the puck in Mt Brydges empty net. Trent who had some nice chances of his own got an assist on the play.
