OILERS HEART BREAKING BATTLE IN FINALS AGAINST THE OAKVILLE STORM
The coaching staff selected the "Bradford Blue & Gold Classic Tournament", which they knew would be a challenging round robin for the Oilers to surpass. They had not planned to be moved into the major division and face only Ottawa and GTA teams... but the boys would not be discouraged. They played with all they had- heart and soul. They used every ounce of energy on the ice to battle to the finals. It was no small feat for the team to face the Oakville Flyers in the semis and later that day rally to battle the Oakville Storm. Although the boys were clearly disappointed to suffer their first loss after such valiant efforts, the coaches and parents could not have been prouder!

There are no single players to recognize after this tournament, although many could be commended for strong plays during the five games. But what really stands out is how well the team is coming together to make plays and work as a united front against competitors. For such a newly formed team, the chemistry is developing quickly. Keep up the excellent teamwork Oiler boys!
