First Win!!!!
The Petrolia peewee girls won their first game of the season today against Lambeth!
They all worked really hard. It was a close game but with great teamwork they were able to hold Lambeth to one goal while they scored two goals. There was no scoring in the first period but in the second period Abby scored (her second of the season) to give P-town the lead. The remainder of the second and third periods remained scoreless until the last 3 minutes when Maddison (Mad Dog) scored her first goal of the season. Down 2 goals, Lambeth pulled their goalie with 2 min 30 sec left and managed to score one goal. The girls held them off for the remainder of the game, winning 2-1. It was a very excited group of girls, parents and coaches! Everyone is looking forward to seeing Coach Dave with his green hair!!
