Midget Minors prevailed.
Despite not being able to get the puck out of our own end and some selfish play we were able to come out on top of Ingersoll. Solid hits from Paul, Edward and Evan sent a few of their boys packing.
Evan opened the scoring on a pass from Chris Docherty, that some thought never went in. Then Edward wired one on a pass from Evan that tied the game up. Jakob Friesen put us up three to two from a nice feed from Ed. Then Evan was able to sneak one passed their goalie. We had plenty of chances to bury these guys but solo efforts stymied us when we had guys clearly open. Chris then scored and Ingersoll pulled within one, but to no avail Ian sprung into the clear and buried it. So Ingersoll pulled their goalie scored, then pressured but Evan scored into an empty net getting what we think is his first organized hockey hattrick! Good work boys, keep the wins coming and I'll read what Gail has to say about the next report. I personally think that She does a better job than me. She knew about what made Canada win today! She'll have Don Cherry's job before She retires!
