Feb 17th Petrolia 6 Dorechester 3
The boys once again demonstrated that when they collectively make an team effort, they can play some really great hockey. Even with the odds against them: a nine 9 o'clock away game on a snowy Monday, they beat Dorchester to win the series. Jaret started off the score board for Petrolia assisted by Ian and Wyatt. Evan scored the next Petrolia goal from Dylan and Chris. Ryan Bell was next to put his name on the sheet with a pass from Jakob. Dawson was up next with an unassisted
goal. Next up was Ryan Macalpine who also scored unassisted. Evan scored the goal for Petrolia with a pass from Chris. A lot of hard work went into this series from every member of the team.
So Congratulations Matt, Noah, Eddie, Dylan, Wyatt, Paul, Ryan B, Ryan McAlpine, Josh, Gouldy, Dawson, Jaret, Evan, Ian, Chris, Jakob, & Nick for a job well done. This is the way, this team wins, by playing as a team and everyone putting 100% effort into every minute of the game. Keep it up for the coming games.
I'm a little late posting this as I missed Monday nights game (Thanks Mark for the score sheet and Feenstra's for the ride), so in honour of our Canadian Woman's hockey team winning the gold today - I'll leave you with this: next game boys, play like girls!
