PEE WEE LION REPS OMHA CHAMPS!!!
The Pee Wee Rep Lions won game #4 by a score of 4-3 in front of a rowdy and very supportive hometown crowd yesterday afternoon.
The game was a see-saw battle that saw the well-coached and aggressive Flames of Penetang take a 1-0 to locker room after the 2nd period. Inspirational words from the coaching staff fired the boys up and they came out blazing in the 3rd period, scoring 4 goals in the 3rd period alone! The Oilers had leads of 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 4-2 and eventually were able hold off the pesky Flames for a 4-3 win. Scoring for the Oilers were: Elijah Duquette with a pair, Braeden Nickles and Caleb Guthrie. Assists went to: Logan McLinchey & Nickles. Shogo Gudz stood between the pipes for the win.
