Pee Wee Rep Lions Take Game #1 of OMHA Finals in Penetang
The Pee Wee Reps got off to a good start defeating the Penetang Flames 4-3 in Penetang tonight.

Penetang got off to a quick start scoring to make it 1-0 at 10:32 of the first period. The Oilers responded quickly when Nolan Salaris ripped one high blocker side on a beautiful feed from Mitchell McAauley while Elijah Duquette drew the other helper 26 seconds later. Penetang went up again 2-1at the 4:42 mark of the first period. Again, the boys responded just 3 minutes later when Blake Hull notched one with Duquette drawing the lone assist. 
The second period saw the teams exchange good chances, but both goalies were up to the task and the game remained tied at two heading to the third.
The Oilers started the third period short-handed and the Flames took advantage potting the go ahead marker on the power-play 50 seconds into the third frame. The boys did not let up and responded with two power-play goals of their in just over a minute. Duquette sniped the first one and his third point of the contest with McAuley drawing the only assist and Blake Hull scored his second of the contest, a beauty from Bayly Fryfogle.
Shogo Gudz stood tall between the pipes and the boys are commended for a strong effort and not quitting against a strong and well coached Penetang Flames team. Good job boys!
