The Novice Girls team competed in the Mitchell hockey tournament on October 19th - 21st. The girls went undefeated in round robin play as they beat South Huron 5-1, Seaforth 4-2 and Mitchell 10-0. The girls played in the tournament final on Sunday against Seaforth. It was an exciting back and forth battle as the two teams exchanged goals, until Petrolia took a two goal lead late in the third period. The girls held on to win the championship by a score of 6-4. Congratulations to the Novice Girls hockey team on a great weekend!!
