Novice Girls Win the South Huron "Pink on the Rink" Tournament
Congratulations to the Petrolia Novice Girls for winning the "Pink on the Rink" tournament in South Huron!!! The Petrolia girls started out hot on Friday by beating South Huron 4-3 and Ilderton 5-3. On Saturday the Petrolia girls tied Lambeth 3-3 and lost to the BAD girls 3-0. The Petrolia girls would get a chance to face the BAD girls again in the finals on Sunday as the top two teams advanced. It was an exciting final game as the Petrolia girls came back from a 2-0 deficit and scored 3 straight goals in the third period to win the Championship. All the girls should be very proud of the way they played this weekend!!!
