Dear PMHA Executive,

Let me first start by saying how thankful we are for your continued support with the Petrolia Hockey clothing orders since 2010. We have enjoyed working with all the parents, council members and volunteers. It is commendable what you do for your children on a volunteer basis.

Over the past 3 years we have had some learning curves to overcome with regards to the clothing orders and how best to work together to make the venture a “seamless” one. Finding a good system requires some trial and error, which is no one persons fault, it’s just a matter or working together as part of a team to find the best possible “sewlution”.

At Sewlutions, we have your best interests at heart. Your families are part of our community. As a family based business, we believe in family and consider you, not just business partners, but also as our extended family. We would like to offer to your council the opportunity to free up your time with the clothing orders. We would like to give you the option of letting us handle your clothing line; everything from taking orders for the teams, and collecting payment. Parents would have the convenience of knowing that they can come to our store (Monday to Friday 9-5) and try on clothing, ensuring a proper fit for their children. Orders can be taken at the store with PMHA order forms, as well as placed online, and picked up within 2 weeks when completed. This same procedure would be followed for team orders.
Once a month, we would total all the sales kept in a PMHA binder, and issue a cheque for 5% of the total sales, back to PMHA. You would also receive a detailed statement of all the orders placed, so that you may see exactly what your clothing orders have earned in support of minor hockey.

This year, we supported the Petrolia Bantam girls team with a $400.00
Sponsorship and we have donated to Silver stick for the past 3 years. We strive to give you the best quality service at affordable prices. It is our desire to see your kids have fun and enjoy their time on the ice, as well as look professional as they play. We understand that the costs involved in hockey are high and ice time is expensive. We are hoping that this alternative venture will be beneficial to your association, and that you trust us to work co-operatively with your parents, coaches and teams as we have done in the past.

Honesty is our policy. We have based our reputation on it. We appreciate your support of us as a small local business, and we look forward to continued success for both Petrolia Minor Hockey and Sewlutions Embroidery.

If you have any questions on the proposed idea, please let us know at your earliest convenience. We are available at the numbers listed below, and we look forward to hearing from you.
