IMPORTANT FOR 2016-2017 REGISTRATION
Submitted By Jody Rumbold on Wednesday, August 31, 2016
FOR NEW REGISTRANTS or families who have not taken it in the past

One parent or guardian of each player registered in minor hockey in the OMHA will be required to complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program as a condition of participation. The Cost is $12.00. This again is for anyone who has never taken it before. If you have already done this in prior years you are not required to do it again.

The one-hour online course is a proactive, educational program that empowers parents
with the tools to ensure the game is enjoyable and respectful for themselves, their children
and all other stakeholders in the game.

Here is a link with more details and course registration information. Players will not be able to be rostered to
a team until one parent/guardian in the household completed the one hour on-line training.
