Ice Scheduler Needed ASAP!
The position of PMHA Ice Scheduler is open and needs to be filled ASAP. The successful candidate will be reimbursed next year's registration for one child! Jeff McLinchey has done a fantastic job the last two years and is ready to retire. He is willing to train the new ice scheduler this next month, to show them how league and OMHA contracts and schedules need to be done. It would be beneficial to job shadow Jeff to learn the ropes, rather than learn on their own at the beginning of the season. Computer, phone, texting and verbal communication skills are an asset. The ice scheduler works closely with the Shamrock Rep, OMHA Rep and webmaster to ensure all games and practices are communicated to the membership.
The ice scheduler also books the refs for home games and notifies the gate and canteen for staff coverage. All those that have had suggestions or complaints over their teams ice times need apply! I will finish this season as your webmaster as well. After 4 years I am looking to turn over the reins.
