AGM Guidelines and Deadlines! As members you have a say!

AGM (Annual General Meeting):
Tuesday, March, 26, 2013 - Forward your changes and info to secretary Lauri Doig at [email protected]  

Attend the AGM and have the opportunity to win 5 - $100 rebates on your registration for next year!

 Proposed constitution changes are due by Tuesday, Feb. 26th.  Boys and girls current constitutions can be found in the "library".

Resolutions: Are suggestions or changes to bring forth to the executive to seriously consider over the next year.

Resolutions: Click "Read more" to see what a resolution is and examples submitted.

They can be submitted up to the time they will be discussed on the agenda, the night of the AGM (towards the end of the meeting).

PMHA Annual General Meeting 2012 

Resolution #1
WHEREAS:           The Petrolia Minor Hockey Association has been experiencing a slight decline in membership over the last few years, and
WHEREAS:           there is an expressed desire to increase public awareness and the public image of PMHA, and
WHEREAS:           the organization ultimately needs numbers to fulfill teams,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the PMHA Executive administer a creative membership recruitment and advertising campaign for the forthcoming season.

Resolution #2
WHEREAS:           The Petrolia Minor Hockey Association has a responsibility to provide leisure sport and recreational opportunities in our community, and
WHEREAS:           the cost of hockey and association expenses continue to rise, and
WHEREAS:           it becomes difficult for parents to afford this recreational sport, and
WHEREAS:           some youth in our community miss the opportunity to experience this great recreational sport, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the PMHA Executive consider developing an initiative to assist families experiencing financial difficulties, when it comes to enrolling youth in this recreational sport.
