IMPORTANT OFCS MESSAGE RE: HOCKEY CANADA'S NEW CONVENIENCE FEE- TIME SENSITIVE!! Beginning July 1st 2011 Hockey Canada will be levying a new Convenience fee for the use of Hockey Canada’s HCR online registration A fee of $2 will be added to your player's registration fee amount when registering with PMHA after July 1,2011.
This fee is being implemented by Hockey Canada.
If registered prior to July 1,2011 this fee will not be applicable. So register early!!! It is important to note that the Convenience Fee will be charged per transaction not per member registered.
Example #1: A parent registers & pays for two players at one time A parent registers two players at one time using the HCR system and pays via a single credit card transaction at the time of registration. The resulting Convenience Fee charged will be $2.
Example #2: A parent registers & pays for two players on different times or days A parent registers two players separately using the HCR system. As a result the parent pays each player’s hockey fee separately. This would result in two Hockey Canada Convenience Fee charges at $2 each.
