Congratulations Oilers!

The hockey season wrapped up for many teams this weekend.  Congratulations to the following teams for bringing home more hardware!
Novice Rep - won the Southwest League Championship
Pee Wee Rep - won the Southwest League Championship
Bantam Rep - Despite giving up 5 powerplay goals the Petrolia Bantam Reps battled to a 6-5 overtime victory over Harrow in the Southwest Championship Game. Jon McGuire was the hero finishing off an end to end rush to seal the victory. 
Atom AE - Lincoln Blades Tournament Finalists
The Petrolia Atom AE Oilers finished off their hockey season with a strong showing in the annual Lincoln Blades AE tournament losing in the championship game 3-0 to Grimsby Peach Kings.

Special mention to Logan McLinchey for winning the fastest skater competion in the Atom AE division. Great work boys on a successful tournament and season. The Oilers won the Strathroy tournament, lost to Essex in OMHA playdowns, were semi-finalists in Silverstick and finalists at the Lincoln tournament. The team compiled a record of 35-15-7 this season and the coaching staff is extremely proud of their hard work and effort this season!
